I am the child,
Give me a chance.
To play outside,
To sing and dance.
I am the child,
Just let me be.
Let’s run and hide,
Come play with me.
I am the child,
I live to learn.
Step to the side,
Give me a turn.
I feel and know
As much as you.
I want to grow
By all I can do.
