Kid Cairo received his MA in Film and Media Arts in 2004 from Emerson College in Boston. He spent over two decades making films and multimedia content, and managing projects focused on narrative engagement meant to transmit contemporary Arab and Egyptian Art and Culture, and inspire dialogue and change.  From inconsequential credits on Hollywood feature films, to battlefront videography in East and Central Africa, Kid Cairo has a lengthy and eclectic filmography. With opportunities afforded by this work, and throughout the last 20 years, he has built a broad archive of photography documenting the beautiful and bizarre across much of Egypt.
